There's also a new tweeter on Twitter...that's right! I caved. I gave in to the power of the Tweet! The Twitter account is going to be mainly used for Etsy updates but please feel free to follow me there if you like. :) Find me by searching user name "urbanwhimsy_" .

Perhaps I should take a moment to explain the many faces of FTN...I have been pondering how to incorporate several different aspects of what I do/make/sell and finally came to the conclusion that the best option was to divide retail from  handmade, vintage, and graphic design.

Thus I have created Urban Whimsy. UW is an Etsy shop with the addition of Twitter for continual updates.

Feathering the Nest will remain as the retail portion of FTN with the original website, a Facebook for Business site [listed as Feathering the Nest], an Ebay store [under construction], and this blog. There will also be lots of info here relating to UW but the main focus will be on the concepts behind Feathering the Nest.

Thanks to everyone for support and patience during the "figuring out" process...but a special thank you to my Mother who had to sit and listen to me go over [and over and over] the way all of this needed to come together. Also, to Sandra for unwavering support and continual positive feedback, to my Dad and my boys just because, to Doug for being Doug, and to Mike and Rob for the "tools of the trade" :)
